I absolutely loved this as an arcade game back in the day. I only got to play it at a bowling ally my family would go to a few times.

I thought a joystick for horse/player movement and paddle for aiming gun and firing. A 3D printed coupler for controllers.

Is this something that you have any interest in Andrew?

It looks do-able on the '2600.

I'm a huge sticker for respect for IP.  So wherever I do copy existing games, I make my best effort to find/contact the IP owners and ask for permission. I'm not casting aspersions on other developers who do not do this - it's just the way *I* operate.

Having said that, this game does not excite me enough to have any interest in developing it. Writing a game takes me many months (typically) of effort for zero reward, or close to. I have to be really invested in something to make that commitment.

Sorry to disappoint!
