I wonder how many of the "invitations" that I sent out actually resulted in someone downloading and playing the game. My guess would be less than half. That would be my only explanation for so few "thank you" messages, or at least any acknowledgement at all.

In any case, as you may know I expected a few bugs and have been fixing them as I can, as they show up - and then distributing new versions. This is a lot of work for 70+ people as I have to do a new build, rename, upload, send a message for every single person.

So I'm going to do the next round a bit differently.

If you are "one of the 100" and you have an invitation to download, and you want to get the bug-fix versions... then please respond here and leave a short note to say so. I'll only distribute new/bug-fixes to those who are clearly actively interested in having the updates.

Just a quick response in this thread will be sufficient, thanks.

Over the past week I've had a serious bug, an all-out random crash during gameplay. Emulators were (until today) unable to really give me any clues, and I've twice reverted to older versions and re-implemented changes to no avail. But yesterday jetSetIlly came to the rescue and modified the Gopher emulator to report the line on which the crash was happening - and the issue was immediately obvious. In a place I would have never thought of looking. Many thanks to JetSetIlly, once again!  Gopher is such an awesome emulator and developer's tool. If you're not using it, you're missing out big-time.

So now, having fixed all bugs and cleaned up quite a bit of the various untidy screen glitching during transitions, I am very near to a final final final version. I anticipate making a release distribution to you guys this coming Sunday, give or take.

Quite disappointed that there are only a dozen or so of you. All the other 70 or so people seem to have either not downloaded, not seen my original email, simply don't care, or are not visiting the forum to see updates. Probably a combination of those. I'm pretty sure it's partly because nobody really knows about this forum and there's no announcements on AtariAge.

Such is life!

Still looking for any bugs left on the newer demo but not like those you have. I must get the Gopher2600 as recommended and hopefully there are more BoulderDash fans to show their appreciation for your superb sequel. Perhaps more time is needed for those who might be busy because of summer season. I put my BD2 thread on the homebrew discussion @ AtariAge, if there's a better location to spread the word, please let me know. Thanks!

Updated binary/link has been sent to all who have followed the instructions.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much!
